interfaith dialogue

Bismillah..

in the name of Allah, the most gracious and most merciful

i'm very glad to have the opportunity to join a program held in the great hall of kyuem. the interfaith dialogue that bring forward the representative of each religion. i admire brother Shah Kirit, being able to talk and eplain things in such a way, easy to understand yet very precise. the topic arised is 'the authenticity of my holy scripture'...and of course this , has benefit a lot of us. throughout the night when each of them talk about their religion, it becomes much clearer to me the truth of Islam compared to others.

Out of many things I learn, there's one BIG message i got today....which is:

EVERY muslim has the responsibility to deliver message or 'dakwah', not necessarily be the preachers and the ulama.... each and every one of us has a role.

a friend of mine says to brother syah kirit: 
" i wanted to talk about islam/ deliver the message but i dont think i'm well equiped or knows that much..."

He smile. and said:

"Prophet Muhammad p.b.u.h told us once, deliver the message of islam even ONE word..are u trying to say u don't even have that one word??"

Insya Allah, i will strengthen my heart... one more thing he said. when we deliver dakwah it's not tring to convert people into Islam, but only to SPREAD THE WORD OF ISLAM. guidance and light only comes from Allah, and if the people themselves choose to open their heart.


i hope this event will continue and benefit others as much as it benefits me in the future....~
